LibreELEC (ae-fork) 22.0-Piers-rc1-01 (Generic x86_64)

System for PC x86-64 (GBM)
Built on the "LibreELEC master" branch from 2026-10-02.

Core Software

• Linux Kernel: 7.2.8
• Kodi: 22.0 RC1 (Piers)

Kodi improvements

• Better real-time HEVC playback: improves recovery of HEVC streams after a stream reset, reducing cases of video loss or playback problems when switching between live streams.
• More reliable stream recovery: improves handling of incomplete or empty data during a real-time stream reset, allowing Kodi to retry recovery when necessary.
• Faster Stop and channel switching: Kodi can now interrupt a stalled network read instead of waiting for a long timeout, making Stop and channel changes much more responsive.
